College Student SHOT IN THE BACK by Campus Cop, After Sarcastic Remark

Corporal Christopher Carter works for the University of the Incarnate Word campus police. The San Antonio officer has just been placed on paid administrative leave pending an investigation into the shooting of an unarmed and student.

Robert Cameron Redus, a 23-year-old student at the university, was shot and killed by officer Carter at 2 am after making a sarcastic remark toward the campus cop who followed him well outside of the boundaries of his campus jurisdiction, finally pulling him over, for allegedly “speeding.”

Local KSAT News says that witnesses claim the officer “emptied his gun” into Redus with no provocation.

“I didn’t hear him say anything like, ‘Get down on your hands and knees,’ you know?” one witness recalled, “I didn’t hear him say anything. He just started shooting. He emptied the gun on him… Boom, boom, boom.Six shots — five or six.”

Mohammad Haidarasl saw it all go down. He said that Redus’ final words were “Oh, you’re gonna shoot me?”

Haidarasl added that the officer kept saying “Stop resisting, stop resisting,” even though Haidarasl saw no physical resistance at all.

Redus lived below Haidarasl, who says that he was “the nicest guy.”

Other classmates said that Redus was “kind, intelligent, compassionate and well-loved within the community.”

“He was not an aggressive person at all, so the story doesn’t make sense,” said another anonymous student.

Carter claims that “a struggle ensued” between Redus and himself. An official University statement claims that Carter has “an extensive law-enforcement background,” and has been employed for “several years” at the school.

The San Antonio Express-News, however, clarifies that he has only been on the job for two-and-a-half years, and that he has been jumping from department to department before that.

The Redus family responding to a coroner’s report, proving that Redus was shot at close range and in the back, recently released a statement, as follows:

“We are stunned to learn that Cameron was shot in the back from very close range. The report also shows that the shot to his eye was delivered at a downward angle, again from very close range. That knowledge coupled with information from the earlier police report indicating that Cameron died on his back with his legs underneath him has left us heartbroken and shaken to the core.”

  1. I honestly dont feel safe on the road anymore! Majority of the cops in this country are nothing more than a bunch of dirty cops and scumbags. Somthing needs to be done!

  2. We will attempt to meet with University student leaders and will forward additional info to the family.

The true facts surrounding the shooting death of Incarnate Word University student Cameron Redus may never surface. The involvement of attorney Mark Kosanovich, Bexar County DA Susan Reed’s Office, San Antonio Police Chief William McManus’s Department and the Texas Rangers taints all the evidence. These persons and others are actively conspiring to conceal decades of criminal activity inside the City, the County, SAPD, the DA’s Office, the BCSO, etc.

UIW Corporal Chris Carter is represented by attorney Mark Kosanovich. Kosanovich and his law partner Shawn Fitzpatrick have been reported to US Attorney Steven Yarbrough-New Mexico District, the FBI, the DOJ and other federal agencies for their part in helping SAPD Chief McManus, former city attorney Michael Bernard , Mayor Julian Castro and other corrupt city / county persons defraud our judicial system and conceal years of public/police corruption. Attorney Malinda Gaul ( spouse of AACOG official Grant Gaul), Virginia Quinn ( spouse of AACOG official Mike Quinn), Bexar County DA Susan Reed, First Asst. DA Cliff Herberg, asst. city attorney Deborah Klein and others have been reported for their part in helping hide the criminal activity including the theft of upwards of $200,000 by city IT manager Jose Medina and vendor Isabel Gonzaba when they submitted almost 300 “padded” invoices over a four year time frame. Former Texas Ranger Hank Whitman and his superiors including DPS Director McCraw have been reported to the FBI, DOJ, AG Abbott, etc. for their part in concealing the criminal conspiracy, the falsification of official documents and the presentation of known fraudulent testimony provided in court under oath.

US District Judge Xavier Rodriguez, attorney Joseph Hoelscher and attorney Dan Moore conspired in the months before this shooting to conceal information detailing the criminal acts of SAPD Chief McManus, SAPD, SA Susan Reed, the Texas Rangers, the law firm of Fitzpatrick & Kosanovich and others.

The unfolding AACOG criminal investigation and the Federal Probe of Bexar County corruption may expose the crooked cops, judges, attorneys and politicians in San Antonio-Bexar County. Citizens continue to demand the truth.

Only then will Cameron’s family get justice and some closure…. RIP Cameron.
